Collonade Jointing observed on Isle Royale

A collection of typical examples of large scale columnar joints seen at Isle Royale. The examples termed “rude columns are perhaps suggestive or speculative. Certainly they are not perfect columns, but they appear represent polygonal jointing to a degree.
