Research Interests

 

The design automation group at Michigan Technological University develops efficient computer-aided algorithms for modeling, simulation, optimization, and verification of large-scale integrated circuits. We also work on parallel algorithms for emerging energy efficient heterogeneous parallel computing platforms.

Our recent research interests include:

Heterogeneous parallel computing algorithms for solving large sparse matrices

Scalable circuit simulation methods in time and frequency domains

Nearly-linear time spectral graph sparsification and partitioning algorithms

Modeling, analysis, optimization and verification of large-scale power delivery networks (PDNs)

3D integrated circuit (3D-IC) thermal analysis and optimization

Statistical VLSI modeling and statistical static timing analysis (SSTA)
