About

I am a GIS and Geospatial Analyst with background in Remote Sensing in Geology. Currently working as a GIS Intern at the City of St. Peters, where I support the IT Department for apps development work using ArcGIS Enterprise, training various departments GIS users on ArcGIS Pro, and maintaining critical databases. My graduate research is on Deep Learning models for more accurate Aboveground Biomass Density prediction for NASA's GEDI Mission. I am looking for full time positions after graduating in December 2024. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a practical setting, where I can contribute to meaningful projects and further enhance my expertise in the field.

  • Constructed sample plots in shapefile format using ArcGIS Pro and ArcPy package
  • Compiled and processed terabytes of LiDAR datasets (NSF NEON and NASA GEDI) using Python packages in Conda environment such as Rasterio, GeoPandas, NumPy, and GDAL
  • Investigated performance of Machine Learning models with the Scikit-Learn package.
  • Investigated performance of Deep Learning models using PyTorch package.
