It is recommended for the pond area to take similar actions as those proposed for the park channel.   The pond will be narrowed and deepened for better sediment transport that is currently requiring annual dredging.   The side slopes should have a soil transplant as well and planted with native vegetation.   The western side slope will have a terraced effect with small stone/gravel adjacent to the pond in order to encourage stream interaction by providing an access point for visitors.
