At the stream segment near Huron Centre, construction of the leachate collection system created two access paths to the stream. At this segment, we recommend that a simple water quality monitoring station be established. It will consist of a gathering point, an educational sign, and access to the creek for making water quality measurements. The paths to the stream created when the leachate collection system was constructed can serve as the main access paths but an additional path along the stream would have to be established and maintained. The exact layout and the design and content of the sign requires addition input.
