Summary: (via www.imdb.com)

  "In post-World War II Denmark,
a group of young German POWs
are forced to clear a beach of
  thousands of land mines under
the watch of a Danish Sergeant
  who slowly learns to appreciate
  their plight."

My Comments:

Very well made: acting, direction and
  cinematography. Unnerving statement
  about humanity. Definitely anti-war,
but is it only the act of war that is
the problem or is it because even after
the war is over, it brings out the worst
part of human vindication for anger and
vengance. Again, I hope I can act better
when I am faced with the same challenge.
