"Fact-based drama set during the
1967 Detroit riots in which a group
of rogue police officers respond
to a complaint with retribution rather
than justice on their minds"
My Comments:
A serious American issue that does
not seem to ever change. Although it
is set during the Detroit riots in the
60's, the frustration with getting
justice is still very palpable these
days and not just with Detroit.
Well directed and acted. It starts with
the Detroit riots and appear to be more
of a documentary but later settles
to the main event of the attrocities by
members of the Detroit police...while other
law enforcement authorities such as state
police and national guards looking the
other way.
Since the movie is about 2 and a half hrs
long, we will try start the movie on time.
