Hello everyone,

For our wednesday film zoom discussion, I am suggesting
a set of short films available from youtube.com

(more details below).

It is available on www.youtube.com

Faith was concerned that with a collection of short
films, there will not be enough time for discussions.
So I will suggest just a few titles and then we could
figure how much films we could fit in our wednesday time.

Hope you can watch them and help discuss it during
next wednesday's zoom meet-up.

Regards,

Tom Co

My comments:

Obviously, "The Lottery", being a classic piece of literature
deserves almost an exclusive session for discussion...and
probably have been discussed in some high school or college
classes already...but perhaps it needs some fresh review in
  terms of our current times.

"Pommel" reminds me of Cain and Abel...very touching for those
  with sibling rivalries

"Alternative Math" ... funny but so surreally real these days
  it is quite sad

"Kutoja" (aka "The Last Knit") appears to be an allegory that
will depend on the viewer's current mindset.

"40 minutes over Maui" ... has some funny lines, but folks who
were in Hawaii on that day must have really been scared.
