Brisbane is located on the east coast. It is a sub-tropical region and agriculture is one of the main industries.
We visited the Australia Zoo, home of "The Crocodile Hunter" the late Steve Irwin.
He grew up there and took over when his parents retired. His wife and children are still part of it.
The emphasis is involvement with the animals. There is the main arena show and areas where visitors interact directly with them.
