Growth spirals on a sharp 0.8-mm
hexagonal graphite crystal. The main crystal also has a growth twin (black). A thin rounded crystal of chlinochore is sitting over some of the sprals. Images are taken with Nomarski Differential Ineterference Contrast microscopy. |
