Two or 3 generations of wurtzite on wurtzite.
Perhaps the last pyramidal generation is a twin?


Trigonal wurtzite on trigonal wurtzite.
Both generations may have epitaxic sphalerite.


Apparently FIVE generations of wurtzite
on wurtzite. Associated are trigonal polytypes.


Unusual, fat, orange, rough, twinned? wurtzite
with sharp hexagonal polytypes and
very think sphalerite crystals.


Transparent orange trigonal polytype (wide end) which seems to have transitioned from a
hexagonal polytype at the narrow end, based on the rounded top of one hexagonal pyramid facet,
which, unfortunately, doesn's show off very well in the photo.
Note the two tiny sphalerite/wurtzite epitaxy pairs at the lower right.


Very unusual hexagonal polytype with very wide end.
May be epitaxic sphalerite on top.


Hexagonal wurtzites with frosty terminations that lack
either hexagonal or trigonal symmetry. They look more 2-fold.


Small but very gemmy hexagonal wurtzite with
fairly unusual, lustrous, prism facets. This
Crystal is growing on the end of a larger more typical
dark hexagonal crystal.
