Kaira Stricklin

Hello, I am Kaira Stricklin, a senior undergraduate student studying Computer Science at Michigan Technological University. I am currently a Student Academic Mentor for Discrete Structures (CS2311) and a grader for Formal Models of Computation (CS3311). I previously was an REU student under Dr. Soner Onder. I also have contributed to projects in the Humane Interface and Design Enterprise (HIDE). In HIDE I aided in creating an application that uses advanced image processing to detect activity in confusing visual backgrounds. Additionally, as a prviously elected board member and current active attendant of the Women in Computing Sciences club, I am committed to building community, promoting outreach, and encouraging participation in the field of Computer Science.
