Twin Lakes
Twin Lakes is located along the Keweenaw Fault, which runs along the NW side of both lakes. The ridge and valley topography of the Portage Lake Volcanics shows well on the topographic map north of the Keweenaw Fault. The Misery River has eroded a dendritic patten of channels into the Ontonagon clay, headed NW from Twin Lakes toward Misery Bay.
