RV Agassiz

To cover the ground and water at Isle Royale, we used a research vessel from Michigan Tech, RV Agassiz. This well-equipped 20 passenger boat carried us all safely around the east end of Isle Royale, to carefully selected outcrops, and giving us great views of the unique landscapes.
