Only seven miles south of M26 sits the Eagle River museum.  Open on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from noon to 4pm, museum attendants are ready to guide you on your visit, leading you through the rich history of the area that is displayed in the exhibits.  Within the museum, guests will find displays on mining and community life, as well as several artifacts, including the 1852 grand piano that was once housed in the Eagle River Hotel.

The museum is located within the old Eagle River School at 5059 4th Street, Eagle River Michigan, near the waterfalls and dam.
