Nikon AC Adapter EH-60 Kit

The Nikon EH-60 kit consists of three pieces: the EP-60 Power Connector, the EH-60 AC Adapter and a power cord. See the image below. The purpose of the EH-60 kit is to allow Coolpix 2500 to use AC power rather than relying on battery power. It is especially useful if you will use your camera for a long period, because you do not have to worry about running out of battery power.

To use the AC Adapter kit, follow the procedure below:

1. Remove the battery from the battery chamber. Then, insert the EP-60 Power Connector as shown in the image below. Note that the bulge of the EP-60 Power Connector should be in the lower-right corner as shown.
   

2. Slide the batter chamber cover latch (left image below). Then, close the cover so that the cable of the EP-60 goes out of the opening provided by the cover latch as shown in the right image below.

   After the cover of the battery chamber is closed, the EP-60 DC IN Connector extends out as shown below.

   

3. Finally, connect the EP-60 DC IN Connector to the EH-60 DC Plug, and plug one end of the power cord to EH-60 (see image below) and the other end to a AC wall power outlet. Then, your 2500 is ready to use.
