There are many professional brackets available. One of them is Stroboframe Quick Flip 350. Note that Quick Flip 120 is for medium format (i.e., 120) cameras. In addition to a bracket, there are two useful accessories: Stroboframe Velcro Cord Wrap and Stroboframe SC 17 Anti-Twist Plate. Note that these items are sold separately. See the images below.

To use Quick Flip 350, the first step is to replace the hot shoe on the bracket by that of the AS-E900 adapter. Click here to learn more about the AS-E900 adapter. Then, mount the camera on the bracket followed by screwing the other end of the AS-E900 adapter into the TTL flash terminal on the camera. This is shown below:

Now the flash unit is moved away from the camera; however, the AS-E900 adapter is way to short. To overcome this problem, a SC-17 TTL Remote Cord is required. Connect a SC-17 and a AS-E900 together, and install the hot shoe of SC-17 on the bracket. This is shown in the left image below. But, this long cord is dangling there. You could use a rubber band or tape to wrap the cord around the grip. Or, you might want to consider Stroboframe's Velcro Cord Wrap. Now, the situation is definitely improved as shown in the second image below. There is one more problem, through. After shooting for a while, the hot shoe may be twisted and pointing to a wrong direction. In this case, Stroboframe's SC 17 Anti-Twist Plate is helpful. Install this plate between the bracket and the hot shoe as shown in the last two images below.

The mounted camera can be used in the horizontal position as shown in the left image below. Or, rotate the top swing arm for shooting in vertical position as shown in the middle image. Note that SC-18 and AS-10 are used in these two images. Additionally, the swing arm can be raised or lowered by adjusting the position of the pivot support. See the right image below.

In addition to permitting horizontal and vertical shooting positions, red-eye is unlikely to occur. After mounting a flash, the distance between the center of the flash unit and the center of the lens will likely be grater than 24cm. As a result, a reflection angle of 2.5 degree requires a shooting distance of more than 3 meters. Even though the reflection angle may still be less than 2.5 degree, the eyes may not be red anymore because illumination at a distance greater than 3 meters would not be strong enough to generate significant impact on red-eyes. Please refer to Red-Eye Reduction for the detail of this calculation.
