This directory contains M-files for all the examples used in the paper

  Lawrence F. Shampine, Mark W. Reichelt, and Jacek A. Kierzenka,
  Solving Index-1 DAEs in MATLAB and Simulink, SIAM Review, Vol. 18, 
  No. 3, pp. 538-552, 1999.

The M-files in this directory have been updated to take advantage 
of features available in MATLAB 7.0 (R14).  In particular, nested 
functions are used to avoid passing additional arguments to ODE solvers.
