- This course introduces calculus the language of science and technology. The class will review/introduce algebraic and computational techniques/issues as required.

- Reading is assigned in each class meeting to be completed before the next class. Since the lectures will typically focus only on highlighting the main points, it is critical that you do this reading to pick up important details and ask questions about points that are unclear.

- Frequent homework and in class quizzes are an important part of this class.
