Welcome!

I am an evolutionary ecologist with a primary focus on plant systems. My work integrates the theory and techniques from ecology, evolution, and molecular genetics to disentangle the mechanisms that influence evolutionary and ecological dynamics within populations and communities.

Research in the lab aims to disentangle the evolutionary and ecological consequences of:

  • interspecific hybridization and introgression,
  • genome (polyploidy) and gene duplication,
  • sexual reproduction (versus asexual reproduction), and
  • species interactions

To learn more about past, present and upcoming research in the lab, please check out our research page.
