Edward M. Nadgorny - Dislocation Dynamics Study in Materials
Moving Screw Dislocations in MgO Single Crystals
The crystal was deformed in-situ inside a high voltage electron microscope
(at an acceleration voltage of 1000 kV). Five successive frames of video recording is shown
for two screw dislocations moving in opposite directions ( Ulrich
Messerschmidt and Fritz Appel ).
