Carbon Dioxide

Solar heating of the earth controls global temperatures, and earth’s rotation gives us sunrise and sunset daily heat and cooling cycles. Earth’s tilted axes give us seasons and a yearly cycle. Measurements at Mauna Loa show that carbon dioxide is increasing at an accelerating rate. We know that this increase forces earth’s temperature to get higher, even though the incoming solar energy isn’t increasing. This is “greenhouse warming”.  It affects us whether or not we want it to. It is nearly certainly caused by man.
