Digital Breast Tomosynthesis

Digital breast tomosynthesis is a novel X-ray imaging technology that provides three-dimensional information of the object with low dose to subjects. Compared with standard mammography techniques, tomosynthesis imaging methods improve conspicuity of structures by removing the visual clutter associated with overlying anatomy.
